Libby Riddles was the first woman to win the Iditarod in 1985. We heard her talk about her dogs and how she came about to get to the point where she was able to compete and win.

Three Young Chicks off on an adventure...That's what our travel agent called us when we were getting our reservations. We're off to see Alaska via a cruise on the Golden Princess. Our ports-of-call are Juneau, Skagway, Ketchikan, and Victoria, with a cruise through Glacier Bay. I hope to post as we go along to keep family appraised of our "adventures".
